Abandoned School - Music Only Video

One of the best sounds school-aged kids hear is when the last bell in the last class rings signaling the school is out for summer. In the words of Alice Cooper, “Out for summer. Out til’ fall. We might not get back at all.” Today I would like to visit one such school. Where school was let out for summer and never returned. The once busy school halls and classrooms are deserted and desolate. At ...

Exploring Apex Colorado - Western Mining History & Ghost Town
Просмотров 7 тыс.3 года назад
The former townsite of Apex Colorado is a ghost town that is nestled into a shadowy, narrow, and windswept valley. Only a few of the city's buildings remain today and few people come to visit. It’s best viewed after the winter snow melts off the roads and Pine Creek is flowing behind the former main street. April or May is an ideal time to avoid snow and for viewing wildflowers and wildlife. Du...
The Antarctic Snow Cruiser - An Abandoned Automobile Designed for Antarctica

The Antarctica Snow Cruiser was crammed with clever innovations; such as its four 10-foot tall balloon-like Goodyear tires. The tires and wheel assembly could be moved individually and lifted clear of crevices and other obstructions. Additionally, they could completely retract them into the chassis of the cruiser. Add to that, the tires had an innovative system that was designed to keep the rub...

Abandoned Mine & Long Lost "Larson Home" Found - Ironton Colorado

Charles L. Larson of Denver purchased the Ida L and Dauntless mines, in 1933 for only $200. Charles and family were the last few prospects in the town of Ironton. Despite the closure of the post office, lack of rail...

you are NOT EVER supposed to touch, remove, or change any wiccan or otherwise charm from a grave site for a video. SHAME ON YOU - never EVER touch these things. they are not there for you - they are there for them. I'm sickened by what you have done. shame follows you for doing such - they are there in a specific place for specific reasons. it's one thing to video, something entirely different by touching any of it. was not put there for you - it was there for the spirit there. yes, I'm very advanced in the craft.

i live down the street. It is a mausoleum that was built to store the bodies in winter because the ground is frozen and they can’t dig holes. So they would store the bodies in it. There are seven total cemeteries in this area. They are very old, and there are lots of babies, children and mostly young adults. It’s a sad place, and it is haunted. Several cemeteries here have activity in them.. very interesting place. I spend lots of time in them. They are very beautiful also in their own way

Unlike a manufacturing plant, that you can put where you want, a mine is where it is! Molybdenum became several times more valuable, because of the Energy Crisis. It takes a lot of skilled workers to operate a mine. And they need to be comfortable with there families. I have personally lived in four similar towns.

There is still lots of good molybdenum ore in that mountain. Someday, if economic conditions are favorable, that town would be helpful to the mine. I believe the expensive, concentrating mill was removed. So, a great deal of investment would be required to build a new one.

I've been on this road, and it is absolutely terrifying. For the state of Colorado to have such road as a US Highway in this modern age is ridiculous. At least put some damn guard-rails on it; oh, that's right, first the road needs to be widened to an acceptable width.

@@DerelictDoug For many years I worked in the casinos and lived in town, but for a while I rented a room out of a house on Apex road. After work I walked County road #2 across the mountain and through the cemeterys after dark to get home. While I never saw or heard anything, it still creeped me out. I was terrified I would see or hear something.
